Charismatic British pianist Charlotte Forrest divides her time between the recital platform, the opera house, coaching and the concert stage. She made her Wigmore Hall debut in 2011, and returned in 2013 as a Kirckman Concert Society Artist.

Charlie Forrest has spent the last 15 years on the staff at Opera North as well as being a regular member of the music staffs at Glyndebourne, Garsington, ENO, the Grange, Grange Park, Aldeburgh Music, and Birmingham Opera Company. Internationally, she has been invited to join the music staff at the Rahvusoopera Estonian, Bergen National Opera, the Opera Comique in Paris, and the Bregenzer Festspiele.

Charlie is a regular guest artist on BBC Radio 3's In Tune and Opera on 3 and has appeared on Classic FM and BBC television accompanying world-renowned singers from Dame Felicity Lott to Sir Tom Jones.

Charlie has enjoyed a highly successful musical partnership with Sir John Eliot Gardiner, starting in 2007 in Paris with Carmen at the Opera Comique. Since then she has performed together with the Monteverdi Choir at the Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw, Paris' Salle Pleyel and the Pisa Duomo, collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra and has been made associate keyboardist of the Orchestre Revolutionnaire et Romantique.

Charlie is in constant demand as a vocal coach and in September became visiting lecturer at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She has worked closely with the Jerwood Young Artistis at Glyndebourne, the Jette Parker young artists at the Royal Opera House, the National Opera Studio, the Royal Welsh College of Music, as well as leading workshops for BYO and Aldeburgh Festival.
